Support Centre
Ceangal support centre seeks to empower those struggling with recovery to build meaningful connections and fulfilling lives. We’ve created a warm and nurturing environment in which visitors are encouraged to become part of a community and focus on personal strength, both physical and emotional. Our centre provides support for people currently in recovery, as well as, families and friends or anyone who is affected by substance addiction.
What We Provide
Here visitors can benefit from direct contact with nature, learn new skills by growing produce, or just relax in the sunshine.
We have specialist staff who deal with supporting people in recovery to find employment.
Our trained staff can help people in recovery start to rebuild their lives. By dealing with housing issues it can begin the first steps towards security for many people.
Sometimes people can find it difficult to move forward in their recovery journey if they are dealing with outstanding offences and other legal issues. Our team will provide support and if necessary accompany you to events if you are anxious.
Our social support team can kickstart the process of reconnecting with loved ones, or provide advice and help with maintaining relationships. They act as the middle man between you and government led social services and are there to facilitate actions to help move people forward in their life.
In the aftercare unit we have multiple counselling/mental health/ discussion pods for group or individual sessions to talk about any issues they may be facing or their options for recovery programmes.
Our workshop spaces can help people throughout their recovery journey learn new skills, reconnect with forgotten passions and gain employable traits. Learn how to grow produce, prepare and cook meals. Develop vocational skills such as carpentry and plumbing. Or even relax by crafting and painting. These activities provide a community of people in similar circumstances which can have even more positive effects on a persons recovery journey. *These workshops may vary depending on popularity.
To reinforce positive connections and strengthen our community we provide various activities to help get people active and maintain a healthy life. Physical therapies such as yoga can increase positivity and wellbeing significantly.
Our friends and family space provides an area for anyone affected by addiction to find some respite. It is fully equipped with a self service kitchen, lounge and balcony over our communal garden.
Our support centre has a number of quiet corners to allow clients to relax in peace.
Our tranquil contemplation space offers a moment of reflection and meditation for those that use it. Completely cut off from the outside world visitors can experience a profound sense of calm. This allows individuals to be with their thoughts and contemplate.
To help fundraise and promote our philosophy we have dedicated events spaces where we can celebrate individuals and group achievements.
